Registration Process: MD/DC APPA is now accepting meeting registrations and credit card payments online! Payments by credit cards are preferred. If you must make other payment methods such as a check or purchase order, no problem. Please email Jason Sawyer at sawyerj@si.edu with registration information and payment arrangements. Registrations must be received by the close of business, on March 15th.

Lessons Learned from an education centric Healthy Building Summit
2 years of interdisciplinary leaders from both higher education and K12 met to discuss the decision implications around delivering a healthy environment for students to thrive. In this session you will hear the valuable output from these attendees on how they see some of the complex issues around delivering both a high performance and healthy building. Here are the main questions that we will pull our learning objectives from:
- Why is maintenance and operations not getting the needed funding and support and how do we help them
- The intersections between maintenance and building health
- How to engage break through the cultural norm with this content to create implementation that delivers results
